Three years, 16 learning centres, more than 3,600 children
In May 2025 we asked for help to reach five more Migrant Learning Centres. By December, all five had their equipment — and the programme had reached 16 centres along the Tak border.

Migrant Learning Centres teach migrant children, stateless children, refugees and others who cannot get a place in a public school. What we bring — devices, digital learning media and basic repairs — helps them follow accredited coursework that can lead on to formal or higher education.
2023 — six centres in Mae Sot: Heavenly Home, Bwe K’Lar, Sauch Kha HangSar, Nam Tok, Pa Ra Mi and New Wave.
2024 — five more: P’Yan Taung, Ah Yone Oo and BHSOH in Mae Sot, New Road in Mae Ramat, and KM42 in Phop Phra.
2025 — the five we asked you for: Irrawaddy Flower Garden, Emmanuel, Mae Sot Adventist and Chicken in Mae Sot, and Sukhothai in Phop Phra.
Together these 16 centres — 13 in Mae Sot, two in Phop Phra and one in Mae Ramat — teach more than 3,600 out-of-school children. This is part of the Mobile Literacy for Out-of-School Children programme with UNESCO, True Plookpanya and Tak Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. Thank you to everyone who gave.
